Description
Conplast WL Xtra is a dark brown liquid based on cement dispersion polymers which mixes readily with water and therefore disperses evenly. Conplast WL Xtra waterproofs by improving the quality of the concrete or mortar. It reduces the water demand for required workability and minimises segregation and bleeding. Thus it is more effi cient compared to traditional powder and conventional integral waterproofi ng compounds as its use results in two fold improvement of concrete or mortar.

Fosroc provides a technical advisory service for onsite assistance and advice on admixture selection, evaluation trials and dispensing equipment. Technical data and guidance can be provided for admixtures and other products for use with fresh and hardened concrete.
Application Instructions

Dr. Fixit Roofseal is a single component cold applied elastomeric waterproofing coating based on synthetic resin emulsion. It is a tough yet extremely flexible coating that can be efficiently applied to any thickness by roller or squeegee creating a fully adhered waterproofing coating with no wastage. It is water based with low VOC’s that is sustainable for years as a waterproofing coating.

Surface Preparation
- Surface preparation is generally limited to cleaning by broom brush or compressed air. All surfaces to be applied must be free from dust, loose material, oil, or any other material which may impair adhesion of the material. All surface cracks up to 5 mm wide should be filled up with the same material and pre-striped prior to application of the material. All joints of vertical up stand should have 50 x 50 mm angle fillets prepared with sand -cement mortar; mixed with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP.
- Primer is required only for high absorbent surface such as light weight concrete. Primer recommended to be used is Dr. Fixit Torchshield Primer, when the surface is completely dry
- Apply a coat of Dr. Fixit Roofseal over an angle fillet as a reinforcing strip all around the parapet wall and allow drying. Apply on all vertical up stand at an average girth of 200 mm. Apply 2 coats Dr. Fixit Roofseal at 0.75 ltrs / m2/ coat, at an interval of 12 hrs between the coats and allow drying completely.
- After full drying of second coat for at least 72 hrs, a water ponding test can be performed by filling water on the terrace by carefully blocking all the down take drain outlets without damaging the coating. The test shall be carried out for 48 hrs by filling water up to 50 mm level. Observe for leakages if any and then remove the water and allow the coating to dry completely for about 24 hrs before proceeding further.
- Spread 100 grm/m2 geotextile over, before a concrete screed is laid. Protect the coating with a concrete screed in M 20 grade. The protective screed should be of minimum 50 mm thickness maintaining an average slope of 1:100 towards the drain outlets for effective and efficient draining of water. After the application of screed, provide control joints along the length and breadth of entire screed area. The joint can be provided by using a saw cutting machine attached with a 3 mm blade. The joints will be 12 mm wide and 12 mm deep. 28-30 days later, these joints can be filled with a suitable elastomeric sealant.

About the product
Dr. Fixit Heatshield contains advanced material of ‘Hollow Micro spheres based on Borosilicate Glass as micro bubbles’ having remarkable ‘Heat Insulation’ property. The unique spherical shape of the glass bubble produces stable voids which results in low thermal conductivity and a low dielectric constant. When applied on substrate, the hollow micro spheres form a closely packed structure like ‘Air Space’ within the dry film layer that serves as insulation medium to resist heat transfer. Dr. Fixit Heatshield has thus the ability to slow down heat transfer remarkably and keep interiors of externally coated surface of a building cooler by re-radiating most of the solar heat back into the atmosphere.

Dr. Fixit Primeseal is water-based primer composed of acrylic emulsion polymer, properly selected fine fillers, white pigments & additives in water as a medium. It is used as primer over exterior & interior building walls before application of Dr. Fixit Raincoat & other water based paints.

1 Surface Preaparation
- Surface for treatment must be thoroughly cleaned of all laitance, loose material, oil, grease, etc.
- Mechanical means such as wire brushing & shot blasting can be used.
- Finally vacuum cleaning of all loose solids and liquids can be done if required.
- All surface cracks up to 5 mm width should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Crack X or Dr. Fixit Unifiller. Cracks more than 5 mm and all separation gaps should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or Dr. Fixit Unibond SBR modified mortar or as specified.
- Dilute Dr. Fixit Primeseal with water in proportion of 2:1 and stir well until a uniform consistency is achieved.
- Apply a single coat of diluted Dr. Fixit Primeseal on the cleaned substrate & allow it to dry for 2 to 3 hours before commencing to further finish coats.
- Light cut with sand paper the coating of Dr. Fixit Primeseal before commencing the finish coats on internal walls Precautions & Limitations
- Only 50% dilution is recommended for Dr. Fixit Primeseal by water.
- Excess water on substrate must be removed by suitable means.
- Do not apply during rains or in direct sunlight.
- Do not tint the primer
- Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacturing in unopened condition.
- Store in a cool & dry place.
- Keep away from direct sunlight
- Caution should always be exercised while handling of any chemical products.
- Skin Contact: Wash skin with soap & water. Remove contaminated clothes.
- On eye contact: Immediately splash eyes with plenty of water. Consult Physician if irritation persists.

Dr. Fixit Raincoat Classic system is composed of high quality acrylic emulsion polymer, light fast & weather durable pigments, properly selected & graded fine fillers, additives & biocides. It is used as a waterproofing & protective coating for exterior walls of the buildings because it forms high film thickness. It has excellent flexibility, breathability, water resistance, crack-bridging, weathering durability and an excellent resistance to the growth of micro organisms.

1 Surface Preparation
Surface must be thoroughly cleaned, free of dust, grease etc and washed well with water. The surface to be checked for cracks, hollowness and loose plastered areas etc if any. All loose plaster and cracks larger than 10 mm width to be repaired with polymer modified mortar using Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP. The cracks up to 5 mm to be treated with Dr. Fixit Crack-X Paste and the larger ones up to 10 mm with Dr. Fixit Crack-X Shrinkfree.
2 Priming
After the proper surface preparation and curing of repaired areas wash the surface well and maintaining it in saturated surface dry condition proceed for priming using Dr. Fixit Primeseal diluted in 2:1 ratio with water (2 parts Primeseal diluted with 1 part water). Maintain the spreading rate of 8-10 sq mtr per litre for a single coat application to achieve about 20 – 25 microns DFT. Allow it to dry for 6-8 hrs.
3 Coating
Brush apply one coats of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Universal Base Coat without any dilution Maintain the spreading rate of 3.5 -4.0 sq mtr per litre / coat application to achieve about 120-130 microns DFT. The second coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Classic Top Coat to be apply with interval of 6-8 hours without any dilution. Maintain the spreading rate of 7-8 sq mtr per litre / coat application to achieve about 50-60 microns DFT.

Dr. Fixit Sureseal is a specially designed waterproof coating once which cured forms breathable, very tough yet elastic film which develops strong bonding to damp surfaces. 1 Surface Preparation
- Wash the surface thoroughly using water and a strong brush. Remove all loosely bound sand particles, neroo or instant lime, POP ,black spots, fungus, moss on moisture captured walls and any poorly adhering painted surface.
- If the surface under the existing paint is weak and should be stripped, and removed with repeated cleaning process.
- Entire surface should be in saturated surface dry (SSD) condition prior to application of Dr. Fixit Sureseal.
- Inspect the screed, plaster surfaces to identify and locate the cracks,
- Non- structural cracks less than 2 mm should be cleaned free of dust. Apply/ pour Dr. Fixit Sureseal on the cracks and wait for it to dry.
- If existing plaster is in very poor condition, repair the concerned area from positive side to stop the source of dampness.
2 Exterior Wall Application
- Apply two coat of Dr. Fixit Sureseal without any dilution maintaining the spreading rate of 4 to 5 Sq.mtrs/kg/ coat. Allow the first coat to cure for at least 2 to 4 hours before applying the second and final coat.
- Allow the coating to air cure for 2 days.
3 Roof Application
- Apply two coat of Dr. Fixit Sureseal without any dilution maintaining the spreading rate of 4 to 5 Sq.mtrs/kg/ coat. Allow the first coat to cure for at least 2 to 4 hours before applying the second and final coat.
- Allow the coating to air cure for 2 days.
- Thorough wire brush followed by sanding with emery paper before application of Dr.Fixit Sureseal.
- Apply two coat of Dr. Fixit Sureseal without any dilution maintaining the spreading rate of 4 to 5 Sq.mtrs/kg/ coat. Allow the first coat to cure for at least 2 to 4 hours before applying the second and final coat.
- Allow the coating to air cure for 2 days before proceeding for internal painting.
Precautions & Limitations
- Do not dilute “Dr. Fixit Sureseal”.
- All corners, gaps, joints, protrusions & outlets shall be coated with extra coat. All surface cracks more then 2mm should be prepared with polymer modified mortar using Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP.
- Always cover an area larger (minimum 2 Sft for internal walls & 5 Sft on either side for external walls and Roof).
- Do not apply Dr. Fixit Sureseal on efflorescence.
- Never apply paint if rain is forecast, or expected, during the day of application. Patch repair on roof & external walls provides temporary relief. Ideal recommendation solution is to go for comprehensive waterproofing on entire surface.

Specification

Method of Application
1 Surface Preparation
Clean the surface with wire brush or scrubber to remove hidden dirt, loose particles, laitance & dust. Degrease the surface by using suitable solvents.
Repair the spalled concrete portion by saw, cutting the extreme edges of the repair location to a depth of at lease 10 mm to avoid featheredging & to provide strong bond.
Clean the concrete surface to remove any contamination where breaking is not possible. Roughen the surface by light scabbling or grit blasting.
Expose corroded rebar in the repairing area fully . Remove all loose scales & corrosion deposits and immediately clean the surface.
2 Priming
For priming of steel surface, apply Dr. Fixit Rust Remover to all exposed reinforcement area and wash it with water jet before applying Dr. Fixit Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer on the rebars.
For priming of concrete substrate, the surface should be thoroughly saturated with potable water. Remove any excess of water prior to application. Slurry of primer coat is prepared by mixing of one part Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP, one part of water and 3 parts of fresh OPC cement. Slowly mix cement with binder to obtain a smooth consistency. Continue mixing the slurry during application to prevent settlement.

1 Surface Preparation
- Clean the surface with wire brush or scrubber to remove hidden dirt, loose particles, laitance & dust. Degrease the surface by using suitable solvents.
- Repair the spalled concrete portion by saw, cutting the extreme edges of the repair location to a depth of at lease 10 mm to avoid featheredging & to provide strong bond.
- Clean the concrete surface to remove any contamination where breaking is not possible. Roughen the surface by light scabbling or grit blasting.
- Expose corroded rebar in the repairing area fully . Remove all loose scales & corrosion deposits and immediately clean the surface.
- For priming of steel surface, apply Dr. Fixit Rust Remover to all exposed reinforcement area and wash it with water jet before applying Dr. Fixit Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer on the rebars.
- For priming of concrete substrate, the surface should be thoroughly saturated with potable water. Remove any excess of water prior to application. Slurry of primer coat is prepared by mixing of one part Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP, one part of water and 3 parts of fresh OPC cement. Slowly mix cement with binder to obtain a smooth consistency. Continue mixing the slurry during application to prevent settlement.

Nitocote Wall Guard is water based polymer coating composed of high quality acrylic polymer, with weather resistant pigments, properly selected & graded fine fillers. It is used as a waterproofing & decorative coating for protection of exterior walls of the buildings from heavy wind driven rain.
Surface Preparation
All surface should be dry and free from contamination such as oil, grease, loose particles, decayed matter, moss, algae growth, laitance, and all traces of mould release oils and curing compounds. Where moss, algae or similar growths have occurred, treatment with a proprietary biocide should be carried out.
Mixing
The contents of Nitocote Wall Guard shall be thoroughly stirred for atleast 2 minutes using a slow speed (300 - 400 RPM) drill machine attached with a mixing paddle.
Application
Apply Nitocote Wall Guard with a nylon brush, or a felt roller, to the prepared substrate. Allow Nitocote Wall Guard first coat to dry for 5-6 hours at 30 0C and then apply the second coat. In order to obtain the waterproof properties of the Nitocote Wall Guard, it is important that the correct rates of application and over coating time are observed. Nitocote Wall Guard shall be applied at theoretical application rate 3 to 3.5 m / litres for 2 coats. Application should not commence if the temperature of the substrate is below 10 oC.
Limitations
Minimum ambient surface and material temperature must be between 10 to 40 0C. For applications outside this range, contact Fosroc for advise. Application of the product should be always on dry substrates.
Shelf life
Nitocote Wall Guard has a shelf life of 12 months when stored under normal warehouse conditions in unopened containers. Exposure to moisture greatly reduces the shelf life
